Radio Set | Stones Wednesday – ❤L&P❤ (2019)

❤L&P❤

A trip into Labels and Poems.

Labels are homes; distributing, producing and walking artists into the sunshine of their releases. If, while searching for new music you’ve come across a label you like- it’s a fucking tip of an iceberg.

Poetry is a lens which invites you to observe reality in its bent way. It’s a way to express the inexpressible.

This time – Stones Throw Records & Ash Wednesday by T.S Eliot.

In theis first pilot episode, A steam sauna of tracks from L.A based Stones Throw and a missionary poem by T.S Eliot.

Stones Throw were established 1996 by Chris Manak (aka Peanut Butter Wolf). After losing his friend and partner in creation MC Charles Hicks (Charizma) in a random carjacking, he wanted to release their work and was denied by many labels which led to the sprouting of Stones Throw. A hot, niche uncensoring label. Here you can find hip hop. Cosmic jazz, techno-funk and more.

T.S Eliot (1888-1965) was a super poet and a multi-other stuff doer. An American that migrated to England and verbalized the industrial revolution, the war on time, the war on war, the war with words. In this episode we gonna hear some of his Ash Wednesday which dills with the fuck of life and the salvation of faith.
